Western Railroad Discussion > Crooked River Bridge on Oregon Trunk: Color?Date: 11/22/22 13:15 Crooked River Bridge on Oregon Trunk: Color? Author: railstiesballast I enjoyed the aerial view view on the earlier thread by Bill Meeker.
I have visited the bridge twice, and seen many other photos, they are all of a black painted bridge IIRC. Was the bridge ever painted Silver? Edited 1 time(s). Author: TCnR Here's a couple of simple web searches, the Google copy of the Railway Gazette should be on pg 394, it looks black in their photos.

That is all I could find in books or on the web. |
