I can't believe any RR'er supports either one of these political parties these days. Today they both proved there worth to us.

First the R's overwhelmingly voted down the paid sick days.

Then the D's voted to cram the TA through that the majority did not want.

What a goddamn joke. And guys get mad at me when I tell them I support third party sometimes? If people thought rails were pissed before this and leaving in droves just wait.

If Ross had his way we all would have happily voted yes months ago. He's a management want to be that thinks we are all overpaid lazy A-Holes and just wants to use us to run his toy train.

Wasn't exactly difficult to see what was going to happen. Even Mr Magoo could see what was going to happen...

I agree. Ross was trying to scare everyone into approving their tentative agreements in case we got the cram down with less than what was originally negotiated. I was never afraid of that.

I don't see why there is so much anger now that at least 7 sick days are required by law.

I don’t support either party. I registered as an Independent many years ago and have no intention of switching.

This is pretty much how I thought it would go. Good thing I make $160K per year to ease the sting. Oh...wait.

We need to scrap the two we have now and start over. It's interesting to note tha some of the Founders were opposed to parties...until they found out how much power they could accumulate with two of them. More than two has never been successful. The powerful see to it.

I always thought there needs to be a 3rd party called the Blue Collar party that combines traditional values with a pro labor angle. That would scare the daylights out of both the D's and R's.

My bet is the Class 1's do what the big banks tell them to do. Do they have a choice?
