Genset in CP 261 freight at Bellevue IA?
Author: JPB

Captured from Bellevue IA live cam at 0434 Saturday 12/3/22 - is this a National Railway Equipment 3GS-18B or 3GS-21B genset locomotive heading north in the middle of 2nd Street trailing the CP power hauling train 261?
Anyone know any details?

That is a Railserve LEAF conversion, bound for K&S Potash in Canada.  Locomotive number is KSPX 8806.

I'm continuing to see a handful of ocean cans rolling near the head end of the CP consists between KC and St Paul. Seems new.

KCS interchange via the port of Laszlo Cardenas in Mexico? Still a tiny number but that's seemingly up from zero.

Yes, for the most part those have been showing up just this year since the "183" trains are few and far between.  I think some of the stacks go to/from Chicago too.
