Sometimes fooling around with a basic flash will net some interesting results. I don’t see myself ever investing in strobes and/or other superficial lighting equipment. But I will employ the built-in flash in my D7100 now & then. This one turned out pretty neat. And this will be one of the extremely RARE times I’ll say that huge American Flag looks good flying along with the lead unit. YIKES!!! Did I really just say that? Wow, that made me dizzy. I better go take an aspirin, sit down & put my feet up for a bit... ;^)

1. UP 3095 is rolling west over the Marshall Avenue (main drag) crossing in Chapman, KS on January 15, 2023.

It's no secret that I'm not a big fan of the way UP exploits our nation's flag. But this image sure does beat all of the weathered, soiled, scorched, tagged flags we see running around every day...
