Spreaders on 'oliday

Spreader set heading down to Roseville for a bit of R&R in the sunny lull between Sierra storms (another system comes through this weekend).   I caught them between Secret Town and Magra.

I wish they would go back to the silver edge like SP did, but I will take the daylight colors anyday.  

I hear the new wing design is working out really well..

Well, they (UPRR) started down the path of painting the flangers Yellow, which looked horrible! Even they must have had to admit it looked wrong and went back to SP’s orange.
So I’m not being one to quibble about the details- SPMW numbers and orange paint is pretty cool when you consider what they could have done!
