They stated UP was getting ready to finish double tracking between Estrella and Gila Bend. AZ in early 2024. They were marking all utilities, drainage etc. for upcoming construction.

First Photo...looking northeast from about 275 feet up. The old right of way is still there after being abandoned 60+ years ago. I wonder which side of the main the new track will be on... Second Photo....180 degrees from the first photo looking southwest. I-8 is way off in the distance. Third Photo...a hot westbound. Note the old pole line that still has extra clearance for the old main. Thanks for looking!
