UP KCS and BNSF Question
Author: HardYellow

Do any of these roads have two man locals or have they all gone to conductor only? Not talking about remote yard jobs.

The UP Wilmot Local, from Tucson-Wilmot to Benson and Willcox (Wednesdays) looks to have 2 in the cab.  (Based on Railcam Visual).

Depends where you're at on the UP.  Most former CNW lines allow a conductor only local.  A brakeman's position may be added (or subtracted) by management's whim.  Other parts of the UP still require a brakeman on locals by contract.

I should have been more specific, I meant Engineer and Conductor only, two man local.
