Western trip day two.

Russ and I spent the night in Canadian TX and got some good action on the bridges before heading back southwest to Amarillo.

1.  Just at the literal crack of dawn we got a westbound running "wrong main" on 2.

2.  Westbound on the "normal" track.

3.  Another westbound on 2.

4.  Eastbound on 2.

5.  Westbound on 1; I'm looking over the top of the main 2 bridge.

6.  Eastbound Z and DPUs on a westbound manifest meet.

7.  Going away shot of the Z's consist.

8.  We eventually started heading southwest on US 60.  Here is a local, I guess, following the Canadian River valley towars Amarillo, between Canadian and Pampa, somewhere around Miami TX.

9.  We stopped at Panhandle TX for a few; here is a westbound.

10.  Westbound at Panhandle.

11.  Westbound along US 60 getting close to Amarillo from one of the highway overpasses.

12.  And looking west we have an eastbound coming.

13.  Westbound, not too far east of Hereford TX.

14.  We dropped anchor in Hereford TX for the night and got several both directions; here is a westbound in late evening light passing the depot.  

Thanks for looking!  Tomorrow, onward to the Peco River bridges at Ft. Sumner.
