Eastbound smokin' hot Z goes by on 2.
5. Nice looking consist with the 2 H1s as the eastbound leaves the siding at East Black. 6. Moving down the line we found this exploded cotton bale at Bovina. Going back to yesterday morning, here are 3 from Russ that I didn't get downloaded in time to post, at the Canadian River bridges, Canadian TX.
All drone photos courtesy of Russell Lyon. Thanks for looking! Andy Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 03/20/23 06:18 by AndyBrown. Date: 03/20/23 06:20 Re: Western trip day 3. Author: AndyBrown czephyr17 Wrote:

We were kind of wondering about frequency on that line, if anybody has info. Thanks for the kind remarks, Andy Date: 03/20/23 07:07 Re: Western trip day 3. Author: millerdc Some Ft. Worth traffic takes the Temple line and at Sweetwater takes trackage rights on the UP (former T &P) to Tower 55 at Ft. Worth.

Here's a link to that question I posted a while back. It could be different now though. Thank you. https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,5061219,5062315#msg-5062315 - Andy Date: 03/20/23 07:59 Re: Western trip day 3. Author: jgilmore More great Transcon views, love the first one and all the drone views. For instance, the drone views at Texico and Fort Sumner give a very interesting perspecitve of the trackage layout, plus they help out on the flat open land west of Clovis. And good to see that SD40 set as yard power in Clovis, been there for a long time. Line to Sweetwater generally does 8-12 a day, a few more east of Lubbock...
JG Date: 03/20/23 09:47 Re: Western trip day 3. Author: Ritzville Thanks for a great series of an area I used to frequent back in the ATSF days in the 1980's and 90's. Used to stay in Hereford and watch the trains fly thru town at high speed and horn blowing. I hope that hasn't changed. Your series has brought back great memories!
Larry Date: 03/20/23 10:00 Re: Western trip day 3. Author: MacBeau Great series, especially the two H-1s. Thanks for sharing all of these scenes.
