Nice trains with interesting freight cars. Maybe the blue GT box car with the open door has a hobo inside like it happened in the old times.

Another great series Larry. I especially liked the DP's in sunlight-good timing.

No 20 appears to be on LAMTA's 'S-Line, moving eastward on the median strip that seperated the traffic
lanes on Gage Ave, between its otherwise north-south travels along Central Ave and Avalon Blvd.
The brick building remains today albeit protected by a sturdy steel fence. We're in the Wingfoot industrial
area served by Pacific Electric and Santa Fe and there are tracks beyond the far curb. The railroad crossing
sign is there for the two tracks which will cross Gage, before reaching that two-story cream colored building,
to access the southern portion of the industrial park which included its namesake industry and first
tenant: Goodyear Tire and Rubber company. Sadly, no rail service is available today but the area is still a very active
light industry source of commerce.

Notice the 1450 is displaying the PERRIS dash sign, a nod to where the 1450 will be heading soon, and remains today.

Louisville Section - running late

RITZVILLE ACTION
Moderate weather and an interesting array of traffic.
Six units on the point of lead-off train was impressive.
UP #6658 may be on a covert spy mission for its owner.
Unit Of The Day is FXE #4036, from "South Of The Border"

HISTORIC TRACTION
21 - Auto following #158 is a 1952 Oldsmobile.
22 - Very nice meet scene,
23 - #1702 is a GM Model TDH-4507 Blt 1947.

Thanks for the interesting action and insightful traction posting.
Always look forward to and appreciate your work.
