Not as much variety as normal—nice Muni shot.

No 19 is looking southward on Pacific Electric's four-track main line, I'm guessing around 48th Place, in
South Los Angeles. The two-car train of 'blimps' are likely passing a train of mill gondolas, out of Bethlehem
Steel's plant at Fruitland, on the Yorba Linda Line, which has just joined the four-tracks south of Slauson Ave
en route to PE's Butte St Yard for further switching. That's my best guess scenario---and I'm open to corrections.

No 20 is within the confines of LAMTA's Vernon Yard, and by the looks of the skeletonized tracks in the foreground,
it's very close to the last operations by the 'other' streetcar company in town, March 31, 1963. The photographer
has struck pay-dirt in capturing three pieces of MOW equipment that escaped the scrapper's torch and live on today
at the Southern California Railway Museum in Perris. Nearest is crane car 9225 a 1912 product of LARy that used
a Whiting 5-ton derrick, powered from the trolley pole seen raised here. The pole atop the cab was/is for propulsion.
Next is rail grinder 9310, a single-truck 1925 product of the So Park Shops; followed by Tower Car 9350, built by LARy
in 1907. As far as I know all three remain in operating condition at Perris.
LAMTA photo information comes from The Yellow Cars Of Los Angeles, Jim Walker--editor.

Louisville Section - running late, day spent trying to resolve isssues

RITZVILLE ACTION
Variety of sky conditions including some mostly gray and some with interesting cloud formations.
All the intermodal traffic makes for color and variety; liked boxcars years ago for the same reason.
Taggers really like to hit boxcars and covered hoppers with big surface areas they can cover.
Unit Of The Day is FXE #4028

HISTORIC TRACTION
19 - A super nice heavy interurban action scene.
22 - #4013 is a Flyer Model E800 Blt 1976, the last electric mode only buses purchased by MBTA

Apporeciate your colorful action and interesting traction photo posting.
Hope your Monday at the dentist was better than today for me.
