It was a a partly cloudy somewhat humid day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside sub. The high-low is 78-51 so far. Traffic is at 19 trains since midnight with more on the way. Here are some trains from May 13-14. Thanks to the many toot-toots and waves from many friendly crews. Hope I can catchcup by the end of May.

5/13/2023

1. WB 1234pm manifest train with BNSF 6781, FXE 4051 and BNSF 4315 on the point with no DPU.
2. Another shot of  FXE 4051 on same train.
3. WB 238pm "Z" train with BNSF 8217-7738-7833 on the pull with no DPU.

Ketchup Komments:

Perfect railfanning weather with lots of action.
Manifest, Coal, Grain, and Intermodel make for a nice traffic variety.
BNSF #482285 (covered hopper) was a very nice catch.
FXE #4051 was a long way from home.
BNSF #3008, a cute little Geep, was certainly looking sharp.
BNSF #7738 was really hit hard by the taggers.
Unit Of The Day is BNSF #8542.

Thank you for the wonderful photos, I guess the western mines dont want to bother
withloading their coal lower than the hopper walls anymore to stop fugitive dust.
