Lucky timing at crossing-H-GFDBRC w/ 2 CN motors in power consist
Author: jmulhol2

A long (118-car) 2x1 eastbound Grand Forks, ND --to-- Chicago, IL, Belt Railway of Chicago Company's Clearing Yard mixed manifest freight train is seen here at a public crossing as it departs the BNSF Grand Forks train yard, takes the east leg of the "wye", and enters the BNSF Hillsboro Subdivision amid the fading daylight and stormy skies of 05/31/2023. This train was mostly made up of loaded three-bay-covered hopper cars (78 of the total 118 cars, or around 66% of the train), which makes sense given the strong agriculture market in this particular region of the United States. Upon approach into Dilworth, MN, the crew was instructed that they would be doing a crew swap at the yard office.

Tier 4 Credit locomotive.  It meets Tier 3 standards.

Thanks Jake including the narrative. Indeed you are monitoring the internal scanner for the Dilworth area. Crew swap at the yard office meant no work in Dilworth. However the train will likely pick up some at Northtown.
