Western Railroad Discussion > Current operator- Solvay Railroad- Wyoming?

Greetings- I have a quick question that came to me today I'm having some trouble immediately answering. 

West of Green River, Wyoming, there is a railroad connecting with the UP main line at Bryan that runs south across I-80 to an Imerys perlite facility and then a large Solvay soda ash plant.  This line has been discussed several times on this board, back in the later 2000s it was said to be operated by Savage Services, and then as per this thread from about two years ago it had become a Watco operation:

I find no trace on Watco's website that they still have this operation, which suggests it has been transferred to someone else fairly recently.  Anyone know who has it now?  A friend of mine saw on a train on it at the I-80 bridge within the last week or so, indicating it is still in operation.

saw some black and yellow sd's last summer

Switching services for others (non owned track) falls under Switching  Services and I dont see a list on the website, .    I dont think that means they dont still operate there.. Hopefully someone will know for sure.

Savage replaced Watco approximately a year ago. They use four ex NS SD40-2s at that location.

Thanks Mike! Explains why Watco no longer lists it. Interestingly enough Savage doesn’t claim or show it as being one of theirs either, at least on their website.
