Western Railroad Discussion > #11 with BNSF Leader TodayDate: 06/01/23 11:32 #11 with BNSF Leader Today Author: jimB Amtrak 11, the Coast Starlight, with BNSF 8119 leading, crossing the Guadalupe River bridge in Alviso (San Jose) CA at the south end of SF Bay. I used to call this the Ken Rattenne Bridge because of his many great photos here.Nice that the morning fog we've had this week was absent this morning.

Probably causes some minor running time deficits, but the Coast Starlight route is generally not a high speed (70 MPH+) line the way the Southwest Chief, Empire Builder, or even the Sunset Limited are. The Winter Park Express wrapped coach from TWO seasons ago still soldiering on. BSB Date: 06/01/23 19:14 Re: #11 with BNSF Leader Today Author: cchan006 jimB Wrote:

Love your choice of location and composition. Next time you run into SCUfoamer, mention how the Pumpkins look right at home on the Coast Sub. :-) |
