My travels today paralleled the former ATSF / BNSF line now operated by the Cimarron Valley Railroad between Dodge City, KS and Boise City, OK.  I didn't see any activity along the line, but did stop to grab some photos of former CSX  B40-8 5969 (still proudly bearing its front and rear CSX markings) tied up beside the Co-op in Elkhart, KS,
