Empty grain train flying past the Grand Forks, ND Amtrak station.

A 112-car westbound empty unit grain shuttle train in a 3x0 conventional power configuration is seen here departing the BNSF Hillsboro Subdivision, taking the west leg of the "wye", passing the Amtrak station and the Devils Lake (D.L.) Switch, and entering the BNSF Devils Lake Subdivision in Grand Forks, ND, during the mid-to-late afternoon hours of 09/11/2023. This train originated at North Yard in Houston, TX and is bound for loading at the "CHS Inc." grain elevator in Lakota, ND, along the BNSF Devils Lake Subdivision.
