Running From The Storm
Author: ColoradoRailfan

Hello and Happy Friday!

Yesterday afternoon, I was on my way home and noticed a rather significant storm rolling in off the Rockies on to the plains. As I came to Leyden (UP Moffat Tunnel Sub), I saw an eastbound BNSF manifest and stopped off for a shot. Six units led the train on the main, as mother nature unzipped the clouds in the distance. As I continued home, I went straight into the belly of the storm and it was a good one. Love that ocassional horizontal rain. Haha

Nice job, good colors, like the storm action.
I'd be concerned about lightning at the elevated position, just saying. But great photos need great locations.

Wow, Kevin,

You're always there when something happens!!!  Just down the street we got hammered with marble-sized hail. Glad you got the shot!!!!

Back East you just can't see the storms coming!
You are on your own. Other than any online radar, not always that accurate.

Great shot. Most of the time, I see a title including storm light and it looks like another Tuesday in Seattle. This looks like what the title says.
