Western Railroad Discussion > Running From The StormDate: 09/15/23 14:36 Running From The Storm Author: ColoradoRailfan Hello and Happy Friday!
Yesterday afternoon, I was on my way home and noticed a rather significant storm rolling in off the Rockies on to the plains. As I came to Leyden (UP Moffat Tunnel Sub), I saw an eastbound BNSF manifest and stopped off for a shot. Six units led the train on the main, as mother nature unzipped the clouds in the distance. As I continued home, I went straight into the belly of the storm and it was a good one. Love that ocassional horizontal rain. I'd be concerned about lightning at the elevated position, just saying. But great photos need great locations. t4p Date: 09/15/23 18:27 Re: Running From The Storm Author: rcfarewell Wow, Kevin,
