It was a sunny hot day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low was 90-54 so far. Traffic is at 20 trains since midnight with more on the way. Here are some trains from 9/1-9/6/2023.

9/1/2023

1. WB 1031am manifest train with BNSF 7183-5328 on the point with DPU. Signal maintainer has a birds-eye view of the train from top of the flashers.

9/3/2023

2. EB 151pm manifest train with BNSF 5131 on the very point of 5 units with no DPU.
3. EB 340pm empty oil train with BNSF 5993-6777 on the pull with DPU.

4. WB 933am coal train with BNSF 6618-8191 and UP 6041 on the point with DPU.
5. DPU BNSF 7647 on same train.
6. WB 1009am manifest train with BNSF 7388-7195 and green BN 1473 on the pull with no DPU.

September Ketchup "Komments":
Clear nice weather and heavy traffic are a winning combination.
Nice lead-off with a WB Manifest followed by an EB Manifest; They are the real moneymakers,
Coal business definitely appears to be holding up.
Very nice foreign power catches UP #9063 and FXE #4055.
Another nice power catch was green/white BNSF # 1473 still earning its keep.
Units Of The Day are BNSF #9038 & #9341 leading a WB Coal Train (my favorite kind of train)
Definitely super enjoy the Ketchup you serve.
Always appreciate your postings.

Nice!!!

For the benefit of us Midwesterners, what does "  Ketchup" mean?  Another benefit would be if you took shots from other vantage points instead of your backyard.  Honestly, they all look the same after a while.  Just trying to be helpful so please don't be offended!
