New BNSF GE’s on Cajon again
Author: oyw

Yesterday morning (Saturday Sept. 16) the same four new BNSF GE’s from the Saturday prior (Sept. 9), ascended Cajon Pass with overseas containers. Unfortunately photo ops were limited as the train sat between Keenbrook and Cajon for several hours because of DPU related mechanical issues. The train was finally able to successfully make the climb to Summit around 11:30AM. The head end power was 3286 and 3285 followed by rear DPU’s 3666 and 3283, all facing forward. Photo taken at CP Walker from the I-15 embankment at 11:12AM.

Thanks for the look…again,

OYW

The light was still nice at 11.  Great shot as the crappy high sun of summer is starting to fade away.

They"ve been running around for LA about a month and a half now. The first one a saw was on a DP WB thru LaMirada. SUPPOSEDLY no more A-1A's Wabtec will not warntee them so they are AC4400ish ? ? >?

Nice catch! Man those look sharp when they are fresh out of the paint shop.

Nice view of Walker. Spent four day along the transcon and didn't see a single one of these.
