Warren, MN-bound empty grain train past downtown Grand Forks, ND.
Author: jmulhol2

A 115-car eastbound empty unit grain train in a common 2x1 power configuration is seen here passing through downtown Grand Forks, ND, on the BNSF Grand Forks Subdivision during the rainy and cool dinnertime hours of 09/21/2023. This train originated in Wallula, WA (in far South Central WA), and was eventually bound for loading in the loop track at the "CHS Inc." grain elevator in Warren, MN (to the north and east of Grand Forks, ND), along the BNSF Noyes Subdivision. This train eventually ran loaded in a 1x2 (just in the reverse direction with BNSF #5620 leading) power configuration via Dilworth, MN, on the night of 09/25/2023.
