Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF Local in Lawndale CaliforniaDate: 02/22/24 21:41 BNSF Local in Lawndale California Author: erielackawanna The Watson to El Segundo local returns towards Watson, passing over Artesia Blvd in Lawndale. I removed a wire that made this shot impossible in film days. While I was at it, I removed some tagging on the lead unit too.

~Dave Date: 02/23/24 06:29 Re: BNSF Local in Lawndale California Author: hotrail I think we are fortunate here in SoCal that many of those GP60's seem to be assigned to a lot of the local jobs. That is about the best looking power one is likely to find working a local. A little editing is all the better.

I looked at Google Street View and the wire removal seemed to make only a subtle difference. Appreciate the tag removal. I like these "wish there was a train" shot that you went through the trouble of actually finding a train. |
