Western Railroad Discussion > More BNSF Action In February With Some Snow

It was a cloudy to partly cloudy cool day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low is 43-26 with .04 of light rain yesterday.  Traffic is at 14 trains since midnight with more on the way. Here are some trains from 2/11 to 2/18/2024. A big thanks to all  the friendly crews with their toot-toots and waves.

2/11/2024--Snow appears starting on #5

1. WB 208pm grain train with BNSF 4173-H1 1075 on the point with GE DPU's.

2/13/2024

2. WB 916am grain train with BNSF 7665-6351 on the pull with DPU in the fog.
3. DPU BNSF 9059 on same train.

Turntable Tuesday northern transcon action comments:
Friendly crews with their toot-toots always brighten any day.
Tagging NP heritage hopper was downright uncivilized behavior.
Lind Turn is my kind of train; especially like to see your photos.
FXE #4053 was a very nice catch; getting a taste of cold climes.
Unit Of The Day is BNSF #9059, pushing its weight around.
