Located on the ex-SP Sunset Line west of Willcox, AZ. At one time the generating station received all of its coal from New Mexico, delivered to the SP at Deming by the Santa Fe. The 114-car empty unit coal train was running 3x2 near Keenesburg, Colorado, 28 February 2024. Rear DPU power was UP 8172. Train headed for the Peabody Coal owned North Antelope Mine, WY, to load.
