Good grief UP

On UP's Valentine sub at Tornillo a east bound stack train pulled into the passing track at 1:52 PM MDT.  It is still there at 10:15   MDT  PM blocking a signaled crossing.  How's that for blocking a crossing?

And for everybody on TO who can’t comprehend why people try to run crossing gates or try to beat trains, here you go.

however, just w/of tornillo siding is a crossing that would allow access to the areas blocked by a train in tornillo siding...........

Nine hours? That's child's play compared to what happens at some locations on CSX and NS in Ohio.

Shhhhh. You'll ruin the 100% railroad incompetence or malice narrative.

Lord knows the 50% or whatever it really is isn't enough to stop assuming the worst

And there are MANY instances across the country where a stopped train for HOURS at a crossing(s) IS a big deal....

Things on the rails are NOT rosey.
