UP 1988 Katy Unit at North Yard, Denver, CO, 26 March 2024

Union Pacific's 1988 Katy Heritage unit led the Green River, WY, to North Yard, Denver, CO, train on 26 March 2024.  Power passed the Rocky Mountaineer (RMRX) 8020 and 8021 when power went into the fuel track area.  UP 1988 was assigned to the overnight North Yard, Denver, CO, to Pueblo, CO, train and should be in Pueblo by daylight Wednesday, 27 March 2024.

Crazy how those things get around. She was on the point of a Portland to Roseville train 4 or 5 days ago.
