The area looks like a construction site in the included picture and said it was no longer needed due to a bunch of cameras being put up. This is all I know. I stopped in one day to see my old office and the tower was closed up along with the building at the base. Great views from the tower and the elevator ride up was always interesting. Never broke down when I was in it but did have to come down the stairs once.
