Western Railroad Discussion > Stockton Terminal and Eastern boxcars questionDate: 04/07/24 08:12 Stockton Terminal and Eastern boxcars question Author: zephyrus Are any of these still in operation or intact but parked anywhere? I know there are two carbodies on the ground at the ST&E shop in Stockton, CA.
I posted this question about 6 years ago and the feeling was they were all scrapped about 2010. Just wondering if a couple might still have survived. TIA! Z Edited 1 time(s). We probably had a hundred or more come in over a course of time, maybe 3-6 months. Scrap was good business at the time and the two SA recycling plants on the island kept quite busy cutting up aged out railcars.
