Louisville Section fully occupied with northern transcon action comments:
Happy leadoff with the nice blue skies, the kind I really like best.
The commodity trains hauling coal, grain, and oil make up a big part of the traffic.
Can still remember seeing 4-8-2 IC steam engines pulling coal trains into Louisville in the late 1950's.
BNSF #968 & BNSF #4028 must be up to something no good considering how they are nuzzled up to each other.
Happy ending with BNSF #9817 dominating the scene; old EMD's never die, they just keep running.
Unit Of The Day is CP #7044, definitely red and ready.
Thanks for posting another interesting Ritzville update.
Always much appreciate your work and time.
