Alaska RR question

How many trains a day run on the Alaska RR im guessing 5-10 a day?

Since they only roster 51 diesel electric units, 40+ trains a day might be a bit of a stretch.

Im not too famillar with the line.

Maybe you should do a SEARCH on the internet.

Besides the size of their roster, there is no imaginable scenario in which the Alaska comes close to running 40 trains in a day.

Two oposing freight trains leave Anchorage and Fairbanks and run overnightg to theeir respective destinations.  One coal trains, several gravel trains, the Hurricane turn outof Talkeetna, and at least four passengers trains Princess and Norwegian Crusies and one other other company that ferries passengers to Denali Park from cruisse ships. This is a summer count.

What month(s)? Summer and winter ops are very different.
