Union Pacific 5875 East moved newly built Siemens passenger equipment to VIA across Wyoming on Sunday, 14 April 2024.  VIA trainset number 2714.  Train speed was 45 and 50 MPH.

I caught it in Carlin, Nevada on Saturday afternoon. It was in a siding waiting for a monster PSR stack train to leave town.

Is there a speed limit here?  You'd think such a train would be flying along at 60-70 mph.

not if on yellows,  or they know a PSR monster left Cheyenne prior , that they know they will catch before north Platte,  these trains may get interchanged to CN or something from omaha  to  CHI, think others may have been omaha, with UP power still on after Omaha, search previous moves maybe get lucky, with those amtrak cars probably Chi?

Seeing it has Midwest Venture cars probably GTW at Chicago to Canada.

It came through central Iowa yesterday. I wondered where it was going.

well it passed the Rochelle cam with out the atk cars
