Sundown at Fig Garden
Author: digitaldisorder

BNSF 6345 South has just crossed the San Joaquin River and is taking its manifest past the siding at Fig Garden on the approach into Fresno. The clouds have moved on after two days of rain allowing the sun to make a welcome return for the afternoon. My phone died immediately after this shot :']

This is a great photo--look at that great trackwork--and it makes me wonder who does more carload business out of California:  BNSF or UP?  BNSF always seems to move more over Tehachapi, plus they move a train over Donner, and have lots of business throughtout the valley.  Many UP spurs and sidings seem unused by comparison.
