It was a cool partly cloudy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low is 59-34 so far. Traffic is at 20 trains since midnight with more on the way. Here is some action from 3/28 to 3/30/2024. Many thanks to all the friendly crews with their toot-toots and waves.

3/28/2024

1. WB 913am ballast train with BNSF 5867 on the point with DPU.
2. DPU BNSF 4589 on same train.
3. WB 1022am grain train with BNSF 6862 on the pull with DPU.

5. WB 1052am grain train with NS 4510 snd BNSF 6803 on the point with DPU.

March 28 - 30 Ritzville BNSF action comments as time marches on:
Interesting leadoff with the ballast train, they are a definite necessity.
The northern trasnscon is a real commodity mover; grain traffic really rolls.
Weird tags "JIGLE" and "WASP" on BNSF reefer. Jigle is a dating app. Wasp is a real stinger. Maybe someone was stung on Jigle.
Nice catch on MRL #4308; it is now roaming around the west with the deer and buffalo.
Unit Of The Day is BNSF #9815, a real survivor that is at least doing its share.
Thanks for posting another Ritzville action update.
