Western Railroad Discussion > UP 1943 and eastbound 'Oil Cans' from far above.Date: 04/18/24 13:55 UP 1943 and eastbound 'Oil Cans' from far above. Author: rcfarewell All,
While waiting for the eastbound Ski Train on March 9, 2024, UP 1943 and 'Oil Cans' dropped down the Moffat mainline heading toward Denver. The head-end was UP 1943, 3487 and 7628 while UP 6744 and 8996 brought up the rear as a DPU set. Sorry for the pesky black vertical edge on the image! Comments? Rich Farewell Edited 1 time(s). Boy do I catch the grief, or is it gentle teasing, about that book title. That said, at least give me credit that this is not exactly another three-quarter "wedge-a-matic" image. I was so very careful up on that rockpile because those snow blobs did not have bottoms; they were wind-blown drifts, and I figured that if I got tooooo far out on them, then without wings I was "dead meat". Thanks, though, for the input!! Best!! Rich Date: 04/18/24 16:05 Re: UP 1943 and eastbound 'Oil Cans' from far above. Author: dan I love wedgies
Otto Perry's book is full of them, I love them , i typically just follow trains and shoot moving wedgies, pretty lazy. Never been on that point with snow, that i can remember at least not that much snow! Spring Wet stuff is quite slippery! Nice to see you adding adding to your portfolio and sharing with us! You da a man that afternoon for sure, you have any company Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 04/18/24 16:15 by dan. |
