Western Railroad Discussion > Foaming on my way to and from lunchDate: 04/18/24 22:06 Foaming on my way to and from lunch Author: roustabout Two unit grain trains plied the UP Brooklyn Sub today, a north and a south, complete a BNSF power, a DPU (on the loaded southbound), and a warbonnet. Had I given it a bit more thought, I could have gotten images of the meet at Shedd siding this morning but I ovverthought it. A bit later I went to my usual lunch spot in Harrisburg, The 99 Grill. Finished with lunch and in the process of paying, I heard the familiar toot of the P&W American Turn finishing a pickup of cars for their feed mill customer at the south end of town. Thanks to a 10 mph maximum authorized speed on the P&W, I managed to get ahead of him and get a shot of them trundling down the street trackage in Harrisburg. Not a bad day of unintentional railfanning.
