Definitely some good pics. I wonder why that Q is going through Colorado? Normally travels the old MRL tracks to Laurel, MT, then on to Sheridan and Gillette, WY. But then, nobody tells me anything.

This one has been running down the Joint Line here in Colorado going on at least the last year or so. Comes south out of Alliance Ne on the Angora Sub to Bursh Co where it picks up the Brush Sub into Denver. South down the JL then East on the Pueblo Sub and eventually the Boise City Sub south to Amarillo and south on the Red River Valley Sub onto the Wichita Falls Sub for th final leg into Alliance Tex.  Ben

Instead of what? Spokane to Alliance via ... Lincoln?

Never said it went east out of Alliance to Lincoln, then back west. . I am not sure  if it comes south down thru Casper Wy or not and then down the Front Range Sub to Denver. Just know it has been operating on the Joint Line here in Colorado now for a year or more possibly. Two ways to come south out of Spokane tho. Smart move is over the MRL to Laurel then down to Greybull over the Casper Sub to the Front Range Sub thence the Colo JL. Other way would be Laurel east to the Big Horn Sub then to the Black Hills Sub and onto the Butte Sub into Alliance. Can't see them going down the Orin Sub, to Guernsey then Front Range Sub again, but would not be surprised. Ben

Q-SPOALT replaced Q-PTLALT. Both have been scheduled on the Joint Line. Not sure why there is a question of why it's operating in Colorado?
