It was a mostly sunny day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low was 62-35. Traffic is at least 15 trains since midnight when e-mail went off line. Finally out of March and April is fast running out, lol. Here are some trains from 3/30 to 4/2/2024. Many thanks to all the friendly crews with their toot-toots and waves.

1. WB 129pm super grain train with BNSF 6185 and CP 8105 on the point with DPU's.
2. Middle DPU's BNSF 4110, KCS 5020, BNSF 6691 and MRL 4301 on same train.
3. Another shot of MRL 4301 on same train.

4. End DPU's BNSF 613 and NS 9846 on same mega train.
5. WB 233pm grain train with BNSF 8379 and FXE 4619 on the pull with DPU's.
6. DPU's BNSF 6013 and NS 4251 on same train.

7. WB 251pm empty flats train with BNSF 6919-7393 on the point with no DPU.
8. This is the way the same train looked.
9. WB 405pm coal train with BNSF 3697-8362-7713 on the pull with GE DPU.

That was the empty military repositioning move going to Ft. Lewis/McChord I told you that I saw in Cheney a few hours before on 3/30.

Nice catch on the wb mega grainer with the MRL, KCS, CP and NS foreign power..

Nice update, Larry!  Looks like a true PSR train on that first grain train.  The last coal train leader I believe should be 5256 instead of 6256.

Great series, thanks for sharing. 

Ending & Beginning northern transcon action comments:
Good beginning of the end with MRL #4301 showing up on the leadoff train.
A big thumbs up on the skies and the appearance of our feathered friends.
Commodities are definitely bread and butter for the BNSF; I like coal trains.
That Z train certainly added some color and variety to the happenings.
FXE #4036 was a very nice catch; will be a while before it gets home.
Unit Of The Day is BNSF #9326, showed up at the end of the beginning, how timely.

i counted 9 foreign road motors!  the mega grain train and that bnsf fallen flag motor (#6075) made your catches even better.
