Victorville rock train 3X3 at Sullivan's
Author: oyw

Yesterday morning (4/21) I caught the loaded BNSF Victorville to Vernon rock train at Sullivan's Curve on Cajon. Three units up front led by BNSF 7065 followed by three more on the rear including BNSF Warbonnet 782 faced out. Here is how the train looked, coming and going.

Thanks,
OYW

Nice looking train.   Don't think I've heard much about it before.
Also of note, the white powder dust ontop the rear power.   Would be fun to see more of that...

I see the lead engine is one of those disliked C4's.  Given they slip alot going uphill, how are they in dynamic braking, with only 2 axles working per truck?  Are the dynamics strong enough to "lock up" an axle?
