UP Business Train at Denver, CO, 23 Apr 2024

Union Pacific deadheaded an 11-car business train from Council Bluffs, Iowa, to North Yard, Denver, CO, on Tuesday, 23 April 2024.  Train overnighted near Utah Junction, north of Denver, CO.  UP 4533 was the leader along with UP 4404.  Train had UPP 9004 named Harriman dome lounge and UPP 203 named Idaho theater track inspection car.

Great catch! Many thanks for posting. I last saw the Harriman in Barstow, CA in 2019 but had never seen the Idaho before- until your images showing the rear of the consist in Denver.

First class looking cars. Nice update.

Here's the Idaho at fox park in May 1991. Not sure the end inspection window was the same. It was consisited mid-train. Also the Harriman on the same day.

I love how they always use SD70M's for these passenger specials. Why? Because there's no EMS to slow down the Brass. Let all freight (including hot-shots) go way under speed, but no delaying the import people. 😂
