VIA on the UPRR Overland
Author: RailDawg

A couple of freight loco's just rolled by eastbound on the Overland hauling a nice-looking VIA train set.

Where did these come from and where might they be going?

Kinda cool something different.

Round wheels are like that....you won't see much round on freight cars....

Those train-sets are interchanged with CN in Chicago,
and continue East to Port Huron, then thru the tunnel under the St Clair River
to Sarnia, then onwards to either Toronto Maintenace Center, or
Montreal Maintenance Center.

Have never seen/heard a brand-new train roll by.

That VIA was silent.  Very impressive.

Thanks for the route that's pretty cool.
