Goofy sequence, but I’ll take it!
Author: santafe199

Sometimes you can get a nice photo sequence by letting your camera lead you around. Pleasant surprises are always fun from behind a viewfinder...

1. & 2. BNSF 6394 is eastbound, hot on the heels of another eastbound manifest heading into Argentine. Both trains are in motion. Good thing the 6394 is one track over or there might be some serious bumping & grinding happening here!

3. Just 17 minutes later up on the ‘hi-line’ BNSF 7331 comes east on a unit grainer...

4. ...with a “sticker” unit, BNSF 5828 trailing.

With no particular agenda to follow, I went on into Argentine Yard and just poked around here & there. I got an interesting shot off the 42nd St overpass:

5. It looks like the DP end of 2 westbound trains which are ready to depart the (Argentine) Fuel Pad. Probably making room for one or two of the eastbound trains I just saw back at Morris.

Thanks for looking!

Fuel pad pans look very clean. How things have changed! Nice views.
