Single Track Warbonnet
Author: MacBeau

With half of the transcon out of service for both bridge and track work between West and East Essex on the Needles Sub, the DS first lets a 4x2 eastbound with interesting power pass before clearing the next westbound, September 2008.
Be of good cheer,

2008 is when I started to railfan in earnest, and saw the Oakway SD60 a few times at Cajon. It seems so long ago. Thanks for the photo look back from that era, with the Warbonnet bonus.

I also do miss the Oakway SD60s. The early-to-late 2000s was quite the era on the still young Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railroad.

Nice set and yes that consist is a good one.  I've never been in position to shoot from the east side of that overpass but I like your angle too, and I especially like the going away zoom with the 2nd westbound "on deck" in the distance.
