Hurricane Beryl came ashore near Galveston and there are reports of flooding on the barrier island.  Anyone know the status of Galveston Railroad Museum?  In the past, the diesel-electric locomotives there have had their traction motors flooded when storms come ashore.

Or how about all the locomotives BNSF has stored on the island? If they weren't scrap before they problably are now.

Everything that I have seen from downtown Galveston shows between 6" and 1' of water in the streets which is not too bad considering.  That is all that I can find out there at the moment.

A post today on their FB page didn't mention any damage other than the lack of electricity
