Military Train on Union Pacific Harvard Sub

9/23/2024 at Harvard, IL on Union Pacific Harvard Sub.  A train of vehicles from Oshkosh Truck received by Union Pacific from Wisconsin and Southern at Janesville, Wisconsin heads toward Chicago.

Oshkosh is almost always working on one military contract or another. They seem to be the US military's favorite vehicle builder.

Great photos! Here on the CSX CE&D sub very early this morning we had UP 4460 leading 5 Brightline passenger cars for Florida. Those SD70M's are busy with these special moves. ;)  I'm only 20 miles due north of the camera.

All the Brightline moves from Cali have been on their own train. Here's one from October 2021 passing the farm on the CSX CE&D sub.
