BNSF 8000 West, the track geometry train running as O-WENEVE, passing East Skykomish with a generator car, BNSF 88 "Atchison" and BNSF 87 "Skagit River".  10/29/2024.

Do you or some one else have mor pictures of this special genereator well car? Are these the ex gas tenders?

What a hodge podge looking collection of equipment. I guess if it gets the job done it is what it is. The "generator car" appears to be a generator set stuck in an intermodal well car, nothing more.

This well car is BNSF 937503.  It was originally modified for use as a liquefied natural gas tender for BNSF's LNG locomotive testing.

What function does the "Atichison" serve? Dining and bunking facilities for the geometry car crew I presume?
