Western Railroad Discussion > Big Boy + PhotoshopDate: 11/11/24 06:32 Big Boy + Photoshop Author: santafe199 For this photographer learning how to use the many bells & whistles of Photoshop has been a constant work-in-progress. It’s been a decade-long ride. Fun, even though I’m 100% certain that I’ll never learn everything there is to know about this famous software. Case in point: Even at only 40mm I got a surprising amount of wide-angle distortion. In the last few years I’ve learned how to correct that distortion. Well, 98% of it in this image anyhow. But there are several more subtle touches I performed on this image. I won’t admit that this water puddle reflection is a bit cleaner than it was before I started. And I definitely won’t say that I managed to police the ground around the Big Boy to get rid of small but obtrusive pieces of this, that & the other... ;^)

Date: 11/11/24 20:41 Re: Big Boy + Photoshop Author: santafe199 Thanks, guys! I'll always try to make the Big Boy look as good as I can. But I won't participate in unnecessary bling...
Lance Date: 11/12/24 06:27 Re: Big Boy + Photoshop Author: skyview Ha Ha litter removal! I see using photoshop to remove litter no different than walking over picking up and then taking the shot, something Ive done for years. Zero issues on that mod! And the new wire removal tool works far better than I ever would have dreamed off, not saying I use it though!
