Western Railroad Discussion > Need help ID'ing this LORAM SBCDate: 11/13/24 14:32 Need help ID'ing this LORAM SBC Author: ns2557 I know that this piece of equipment is known as a Shoulder Ballast Cleaning Machine, or at least I believe in looking at other shots of like equipment, that is what it seems. But most LORAM Equipment I have seen and managed shots of have an assigned unit number for the equipment. The only ID I can find on this one is that which can be seen on the frame sill, near the end, that being 05002960117. Is there another numebr that exists for this piece of equipment? Like a LMIX type number? This particular piece was at Denver Co on 09-16-2024 on the short interchange track between the BNSF at 31st St and UP's 36th St yard.. Can't seem to find any other number on it. Didn't get to the opposite end of it tho, so perhaps there is one down thar. Has anyone shot this particular unit? Thanks for any help. Ben
