Kyle RR Crossed Bridge near Seibert, CO, 12 Nov 2024

Westbound Kyle RR 6843, SD40-2, led Utah Railway lettered 5006, MK50-3, across long bridge in snow covered eastern Colorado 12 November 2024.  Bridge is west of Seibert, CO, that was buried by over two feet of snow during the November 5 - 7, 2024 snowstorm.  Winter wonderland but a nightmare for ranchers trying to reach their herds.

Thanks for all your snow coverage posts!
When I used to live and work in Sothern Idaho/Northern Nevada, 24" of snow was quite a bit to deal with for living, working and driving, in flatlands and basin/range territories,everything would be shut down for quite a few days, but 36" to 40"? Wow that is really crippling.

Those old wooden trestles always look so dicey under new, big modern power and cars.  It's great imaging the old ROCKY MTN. ROCKET flying along there when Rock Island was around.
