Continuing with the "old EMDs never die" theme, here is MDLX 40 behind the Burlington Junction Railway shop in Burlington IA on 11/23/2024.  Jeff Van Cleve photo, my collection.  The MDLX reporting mark comes back to Turner Locomotive and Components.  MDLX 40 is ex-NRE 40 and was previously at the West Central elevator in Jefferson (IA), at Cargill in Beaver (IA), Northern Indiana Public Service in Wheatland (IN), and is nee-Detroit Edison 210 (8152, 4/49).
