Keeping up the physical plant! BNSF is doing a major make-over of the bridge over Mud Creek in Abilene, Kansas. Just west of this bridge is SA Jct where the old AT&SF Salina District branched off and ran to Salina via trackage rights over the UP between West Abilene & East Salina.

Are they replacing a wood deck bridge with concrete?  Looks like a pile driver in one picture.
